In January 2004, geography of Ukraine’s import of manganese ore and concentrate in was represented by 6 main countries. The top three suppliers of manganese ore and concentrate to Ukraine looked, as follows: Ghana – about 55 ths t (42% in total imports of manganese ore and concentrate) at the average price level of USD/МТ 80; Gabon – about 37 ths t (28%) at USD/МТ 89, and South African Republic – just over 34 ths t (26%) at USD/МТ 98.
