Donetsk Metallurgical Plant increased production, January-February 2004.

According to the press-service at Donetsk Metallurgical Plant OJSC, Donetsk Metallurgical Plant and its subsidiary company Donetskstal-Metallurgical Plant JSC increased production of cast iron and hot-rolled sheet. In February 2004 production of cast iron increased by 3,821 t against February 2003(+1.04 times), steel +7,697 t (+1.1 times). Production of hot-rolled sheet increased by +8,845 t (by more than +1.3 times) up to 34,643 t, and hot-rolled sheet shipments increased by +1.2 times up to 31,988 t. Production of metal ware also increased (+1.4 times).

In January-February 2004 production of steel increased by +1.1 times against the analogous period of 2003. During the same period production of hot-rolled sheet increased by +1.5 times, and its shipments grew by +1.4 against the analogous period of the last year.

In January-February 2004 the mentioned enterprises shipped to the customers over 26 ths t of section, and 66 ths t of sheet, 63 ths units of metal ware.
