Ukraine’s export of aluminum semi-finished articles in January-February 2004.

According to the results of January-February 2004, Ukraine exported 26.6 ths MT of primary crude aluminum and aluminum alloys for the total amount of USD 43.2 mn.

The portion of primary crude aluminum amounts 32.3% (or 31.5% in financial terms) in total exports upon the article of 7601 (crude aluminum and aluminum alloys untreated), which is equivalent 8.6 ths t for the total amount of USD 13.6 mn. Secondary aluminum alloys remain the absolute leader in Ukraine’s export of aluminum semi-finished articles, their portion in mentioned volume made up 47.7% and 51.9% (12.7 ths t for the total amount of USD 22.4 mn). The portion of primary aluminum alloys made up 19.9% and 16.9%, which is equivalent to 5.3 ths t for the total amount of USD 7.3 mn. According to Infor-Metal LLC
