Ukraine showed the highest industrial growth among CIS countries in January 2004.

According to the results of January 2004, Ukraine showed the highest industrial growth among CIS countries: 16.1% against the results of January 2003. This information was reported by the Interstate Statistics Committee of CIS.

Georgia showed the growth just over 14%, Belarus +11.3%, Moldova and Kazakhstan over +8%. Industrial production in Russia increased by 7.5%. Industrial production in Armenia reduced by 8.9%.
