Azovstal ISW plans to spend UAH 1,1 bn for the production modernization in 2004.
In 2004 Azovstal ISW started large-scale program of technical modernization, which foresees the costs about UAH 1.1 bn only in 2004″, – reported Alexey Beliy, the General director of Azovstal ISW at the Board of Donetsk State Regional Administration on Friday.
According to his words, the company plans the construction of blast furnace №2, conducting of complex modernization of converter process at the Works, construction of oxygen block, complex for ash-heap processing, completing of the construction of the section producing dolomite lime at Dukachevsky Works”. “At that, all the contracts for the reconstruction were signed mostly with Ukrainian producers”, – stated A. Beliy.
