Ukrainian export of steel tubes to Russian Federation in January 2004.

As it was reported earlier, the intergovernmental agreement between Russia and Ukraine, set up the quotas for the Ukrainian tubes supplies to Russia in volume of 715 ths t, including 230 ths t of large diameter tubes, and 4.2 ths t of stainless steel tubes. According to the preliminary results of January 2004, Ukraine supplied 22.5 ths t of steel tubes, which makes up 3.2% to the annual volume. In January 2004, annual quota for large diameter tubes (code 7305 11 00 00) was fulfilled approximately by 3.7% (about 8.5 ths t), stainless steel tubes – by 5.5% (over 0.2 ths t), other tubes – by 2.9% (13.8 ths t).
